The Haiti Missions program was started in 1996 when a group from
the First Baptist Church in Red Bank, New Jersey invited Aslan to
join them on a trip to Ouanaminthe. Ouanaminthe, with a population
of approximately 40,000, is located in the north east corner of
Haiti on the Dominican border. In 1996, the main project was the
painting of the school.
